CICS Proficiency Test

The CICS test is a 30 question multiple-choice test that can be administered in 1 hour. This test was designed to measure knowledge of Command Level CICS in either IBM DOS or IBM OS programming environments. Content areas include: Services, Debugging, Coding, Task Initiation/ Task Control, BMS Mapping, and CICS Systems Resources.

The CICS (Customer Information Control Systems) test may be used alone when CICS language proficiency is the primary focus of the job description. It is also useful in conjunction with other tests (e.g. COBOL Form IV).
