The UNIX test is a 25 question multiple-choice test that can be administered within 1 hour.

The UNIX test can be used for selection of experienced personnel as well as for end-of training evaluations. It may be used alone or in conjunction with other tests (most commonly the C & UNIX Interface Test).

The UNIX test was developed with the help of AT&T UNIX experts. Content areas include: Specialized Commands; General Commands; Shell Syntax; Meta Characters and Quoting; Environmental Variables; Shell Variables; Process; I/O system; and File System.
